The incredible Mace Francis with his 15 piece orchestra the “950 Express” are coming to the Quarry in January for Jazz on the Rocks 2023. This year they joined by vocalists Lucy Iffla and Jordan Boase singing classic jazz hits from Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra and Joe Williams.
In support we have The Fix. This excellent, tight-knit, and spontaneous quartet performed for many years a late-night jazz session at The Moon Café. The Fix presents impromptu jazz at its finest: Expect a high-energy take on hard bop, featuring tunes made popular by classic groups like Art Blakey, Wayne Shorter, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, and Lee Morgan, as well as a few original compositions.
